Ecological assessment of the safety and biodiversity of woody introduced species in the semi-desert of the Northern Caspian lowland

Abstract The species diversity and safety of a 70-year-old collection tree shrub introduced in the arboretum Dzhanybek Research Station, located rainfed conditions semi-desert Northern Caspian region, was studied. created on hydromorphic meadow-chestnut soils mesodepression relief 1953. At present stage, 75 belonging to 23 families 43 genera have been identified arboretum. It analyzed that most are represented by family Rosaceae, Caprifoliaceae, Elaeagnaceae, Fagaceae, Leguminosae, Oleaceae, Salicaceae, Sapindaceae, Ulmaceae very numerous. Species with high ecological biological potential identified. is concluded due their own longevity, adaptive reactions, good self-renewal abilities, many can exist for long time stably conditions. be recommended creating sustainable socially significant plantations proposed.
